an album on both your houses

i read a review in december's wired of an album called "plague songs." it was released on a british label in october, and the stellar lineup –Imogen Heap and Rufus Wainwright and Stephin Merritt, oh my! – is almost as cool as the premise. If the Biblical ten plagues of Egypt aren't screaming for ethereal, contemplative interpretations, what is?

also of note on wired.com:
• has "battlestar galactica" jumped the shark? (no! but that cylon threesome was lame)
short interview with ricky gervais about technostuff
